SCENE – 1
The episode starts with Kashvi, who says she saw Arjun and Meera’s wedding. Grandmother asks if she was there, and Kashvi says she arrived when Meera lifted his sehra. She tells Grandmother how could he do this to her.
She cries, saying she feels betrayed, as she was happy with the news. Grandmother asks what this means. Kashvi says it no longer matters. She thought she was starting a new life with him, but…
SCENE – 2
Meera asks Vikram if he told Arjun to marry her and asks where Mohan is. Just then, the ward boy brings Mohan’s dead body on a stretcher and places it there. The doctor asks Arjun to sign for the body. Meera asks whose body it is, and then she sees Mohan’s hands with mehndi and is shocked.
She uncovers his face and is stunned. She remembers their moments and cries out to Mohan, asking him to open his eyes. She says it’s their wedding day. Arjun signs the papers, and the ward boy takes Mohan’s body away.
SCENE – 3
Vikram tells her that Mohan died due to an electric shock while fixing the lights. Meera says, so you thought I’d marry someone else? Vikram says he cannot let her be a mother without marriage. Meera says the baby is her and Mohan’s decision.
Arjun remembers he promised Vikram not to tell anyone about Karun. He tells Meera that he’s a father and knows people will call her child illegitimate. Meera says they have no feelings for each other and that he loves Kashvi.
Arjun admits he loves Kashvi, but she’s leaving, and Karun will never accept him. He says he’ll do anything for his son, and Vikram uncle made him understand. Meera says she will raise her child alone. Vikram says it will be difficult.
SCENE – 4
Grandmother tells Kashvi to drink water and asks if she doesn’t think she should talk to Arjun. Kashvi says she will never talk to him. Grandmother says if you don’t want to know the truth, why he married Meera, you should at least meet him and face him.
SCENE – 5
Arjun follows Meera. Meera tells him to leave. Arjun says he understands how her life has changed and understands her father’s feelings about why he made this decision. He says a father will do anything to protect his child.
He tells her not to worry and says their marriage will be just a formality; they will only be friends or best friends, not husband and wife. Meera asks about Kashvi. Arjun says he can’t face her. He says she was about to leave, but when she finds out, she will be devastated, and these feelings will make her hate him, or she won’t be able to move on.
He says he will tell her he married her of his own choice and that they need to say the marriage happened because of her choice. He says still don’t tell Kashvi the truth and asks if she will support him. Meera says yes, she will support him. She cries.
SCENE – 6
Later, Meera’s house entry ceremony happens. Kashvi arrives. Nitya tells Kashvi she can’t go inside. Kashvi signals her to stop. She looks at Arjun and Meera and says she wants to talk to him alone. Meera says Kashvi.
Meera says she doesn’t want to talk to her and doesn’t want to look at her. She takes Arjun outside and asks why he married Meera. Arjun says since you’re going to Delhi and we can never be together because of Karun, I could marry anyone. Kashvi asks why he is talking like this and says he married Meera, whom he doesn’t know.
She asks why he wore Mohan’s sherwani. Arjun says Mohan is dead. Kashvi is shocked and says Mohan is dead. He says he felt bad for Meera. Kashvi asks why he is lying. Arjun lies that they liked each other during Devaraj’s daughter’s wedding, but circumstances were different, so they hid their feelings. But when they learned about Mohan, they decided to live their lives together.
Precap:
Meera accuses Arjun of taking advantage of Mohan’s death. Karun is standing outside and overhears them. He asks Arjun if he married Meera because of him. Nitya invites Grandmother and Romila for Meera’s baby shower.
Later, Meera takes Karun to the hospital. The doctor asks who his mother is. Kashvi and Meera both say “I am.” Later, during the baby shower, Romila is about to see Meera’s face, and Kashvi is sitting under the veil as Meera.
