The Episode Begins
Ram instructs Hanuman to enter the devils’ cave. Asuras are stationed at the cave to guard Meghnad’s Yagna. Sonidaksh arrives to guide them. Ram says only light will reveal the way, and Laxman is suited for this task, as he will help us overcome the illusion. He asks Vibhishan about the third obstacle. Angad volunteers to handle it. Vibhishan describes a garden, stating that crossing the first two obstacles is impossible and that there are no guards in the cave.
Asuras position themselves to guard the cave. Veer Kumbh orders them to prevent anyone from disrupting the Yagna. Meghnad continues performing the Yagna. Hanuman believes that overcoming the three obstacles will reveal a way to stop the Yagna. Ram tells them to keep this in mind. Raavan declares that Ram’s end is near and expresses confidence in Meghnad’s capabilities, reassuring that Veer Kumbh will protect him. Mandodari counters, reminding Raavan that similar claims were made for others who died in the war. Raavan tells her to leave.
Shukh arrives and announces that everyone knows Meghnad killed Mayavi Sita. Mandodari urges Raavan to halt this. Raavan then announces that Makharaksha, Khar’s son, will seek revenge. He summons Makharaksha and encourages him to avenge his father and uncle’s deaths by keeping Ram and his army occupied. Makharaksha agrees and departs.
Vibhishan warns that Raavan has launched a new attack, and they need to act quickly. Ram instructs Vibhishan to go with Lakshman to stop the Yagna while he stays behind. Angad questions how they can leave Ram alone. Ram reassures them, saying Shukh will provide all necessary information. Raavan leaves.
Ram and Makharaksha Conflict
Jambavanth mocks Makharaksha. Rama battles with the devils. Jambavanth advises that Lakshmana and his team must reach Indrajeet. Vibhishan explains that the first hurdle is the demon’s domain. Nala comments on the garden’s beauty.
Vibhishan urges him to stop. Nala is frightened by the demons in the dark cave. Hanuman volunteers to investigate. He encounters the demons and questions if they are spirits. The demons laugh. Hanuman asks if they aim to scare or amuse him. He begins chanting Rama’s name. Nala holds Hanuman.
Nala claims they should now frighten the demons. They chant Rama’s name, causing the demons to vanish. Lakshmana acknowledges Hanuman has cleared their path and they proceed. Hanuman attributes their progress to Rama. Nala agrees.
Hanuman states that merely chanting Ram’s name helped, and they now need to navigate the magical cave. Vibhishan confirms they must reach him. They arrive at the cave, where Vibhishan advises Lakshman to be cautious. Makharaksha vows to hurt Ram. Lakshman describes it as a labyrinth. Ram observes the demons.
