The followers of Narayan pray to Narayan’s Shaligram for food, as they haven’t eaten in two days. Jalandhar says that the only two stones with real power in the world are Shaligram and Shivling, and he should instruct the followers to throw the stones.
Mahishasura’s Appearance
Mahishasura makes an appearance in front of the devotees and declares that all the gods are in the hands of Asuras and that it is pointless to worship Narayan’s Shaligram since it is thought to be Narayan. They won’t accept it. Mahishasura uses his superpowers to demonstrate them.
If they will listen to Jalandhar, he will grant all their wishes and give them food. He demonstrates this by giving them food. The Shaligram is picked up and eliminated by the devotees.
Jalandhar’s Offer
If they pray to Jalandhar, he will grant their wishes, he says in an appearance. He makes a barren woman pregnant and helps a disabled person walk on her feet. After chanting his name, all the devotees remove the Shivling.
