Family Worship and Blessings
All the family members are doing the worship. Padma says that Mohini said this worship is for married women, so I bless Shakti. Grandma performs a tilak (ceremonial mark) on Shiv and Shakti and prays for them while everyone watches. Shiv asks if she is okay. Kartik asks why she applied the tilak seven times. Grandma says she just wanted to bless them. She sits and prays that they always remain safe from enemies.
Shiv’s Suspicion and Search
Shiv enters his room and feels someone’s presence but doesn’t find anyone there. He wonders if it was a snake. He looks around and says he will keep an eye on it today. He picks up a stick and looks around. In the process of searching, he accidentally breaks a vase.
He looks at it, but the snake has escaped. Shakti knocks on the door and all the family members run to her. He closes the door and says he will first handle the snake. Shakti and the others beg him to open the door, but he doesn’t listen and keeps searching for the snake.
He strikes the mirror and breaks it. Kirtan breaks the door and enters. Shiv tells them to stay outside, as there was a snake here. Shakti says it wasn’t a snake but a rope near the mirror. Shiv is confused by this. Raghunath says that Shiv must have made a mistake and was scared. Mohini hides and smiles.
Family Reaction and Mohini’s Smile
The family members say Shiv must have been very scared, imagining a snake in the rope. Mohini smiles on hearing this. Grandma goes to her and says to please stop, stop scaring my children, I am begging you. Mohini says the real fear is yet to come.
Shiv’s Helplessness and Grandma’s Plea
Shiv sits alone and keeps thinking about everything. Shakti cleans the room and says he actually thought there was a snake in the room and troubled everyone. Shakti says it’s okay, you were just trying to protect us. Shiv says he feels helpless in this situation.
Mohini’s Threats and Grandma’s Concern
Grandma begs Mohini to stop all this. Mohini says she is here to break everyone, and she will hurt everyone to snatch her Kundan (jewelry). If you try to speak, I will kill Kartik. Milk Incident with Shakti
Mohini prepares milk and thinks she will use it to get Shakti’s anklet. She approaches her and finds her talking to Kartik. She says that Sundari gave it for Kartik. Shakti asks Kartik to drink it; he takes it and says it is very hot.
Shakti says don’t lie and drink it. Kartik cannot hold the glass as it is hot and drops it. It falls on Shakti’s foot and she cries out in pain. Kartik says he told her the milk was hot. She asks Mohini to bring a cold towel for her. Mohini thinks she cannot touch her because she is wearing a safety thread.
Precap: Shiv and Shakti Hear the Snake
Precap: Shiv and Shakti hear the hissing of a snake. They run to find the snake. Shakti falls down. Shiv looks at her foot and takes out the anklet from her foot and throws it towards Mohini. She takes the anklet and performs a ritual for the rebirth of her Kundan.
