Kishori Lal and Padma Discuss Vedika’s Future
At night, Kishori Lal says that fate cannot be denied because Sagar has found his Jahnavi and Vedika has also started loving Sagar. How can they stop this? Padma says that Ghatusham Ji himself handed Vedika over to them.
Kishori Lal says that they should take care of her but not control her all the time, and now it is time to tell her the truth about her mother. Padma sits back on the bed, saying it cannot be done because Vedika is their daughter.
Kishori Lal says that just as Padma is so scared now, a mother has felt the same for the past twenty years. Padma replies that she will not tell Vedika the truth and will never send her back to that house because animals live there.
Saraswati Reflects on Trust and Apologies
Saraswati is thinking about how she couldn’t trust Gautam and needs to find another way to talk and apologize to Vedika. Saraswati feels that when Vedika said she could never be like her mother, it felt like she had lost her daughters again and must have hurt Jahnavi. Saraswati keeps crying, thinking about how she could have done this.
Sagar Vows to Make Things Right
Vedika asks what happened to her because Sagar is not right for her. Standing by the window, Sagar says he knows his family has really wronged her, but he vows to make everything right and asks if she trusts him.
He says whenever he meets Vedika, he feels like he has known her for years, but he doesn’t know if she feels the same way about him. Vedika replies that she needs to think with her mind, not her heart, and should not make any wrong steps with emotions.
She knows their paths are the same but their destination can never be because she cannot accept the family that has done so much harm to them. She acknowledges that Sagar has genuinely helped her and the entire family.
Sagar’s Morning Thoughts and Preparations
In the morning, Sagar wakes up to the sunlight on his face, immediately thinking about Vedika and picking up the phone to call her. Sagar wonders what has happened and how to talk about it over the phone. He gets up from bed, gets ready, and thinks it is better to talk face-to-face and express all his feelings. Sagar wonders why he is nervous and thinks he should be strong.
He even looks at Vedika’s face in the mirror and tries to touch it, only to realize it is just a dream. Sagar says he will tell Vedika his heart’s feelings today and hopes she listens to him. Smiling, Sagar says he is praying for her smile because she is the one his heart has accepted, and he hates seeing her cry but loves seeing her smile.
Padma and Kishori Lal Search for Vedika
Kishori Lal comes outside to see Padma holding a sacred vessel. When Padma asks if he has decided what they should do, she tries to leave but heads toward the door, knocking and calling out to Vedika. Kishori Lal keeps staring at her and then goes to comfort her, asking if she is going to tell Vedika.
Padma replies that it is time to tell Vedika the whole truth about her life because a mother cannot bear to see pain and sadness in her daughter’s eyes. Kishori Lal says Padma is a true mother. Padma knocks on Vedika’s door again but gets no response.
She wonders why Vedika is not opening the door, so they both enter the room only to find she is not there, and Padma wonders where she has gone so early.
Vedika’s Prayer and Sagar’s Revelation
Vedika is praying at the temple, saying she has come with great hope because she has no answers to her questions and asks if she will get help finding answers. Standing next to her, Sagar asks why she is teasing Ghatusham Ji when he will give all the answers.
The priest praises Sagar for bringing yellow flowers to Ghatusham Ji and says the priest should offer the flowers on their behalf. Vedika asks what he is doing here, and Sagar replies that he thought he would find Vedika here because they first met at the temple, and today is a very special day. The priest leaves, saying Ghatusham Ji will surely fulfill their wishes.
They perform the rituals, and Vedika turns back. Sagar says that the previous night, Vedika turned to leave, and Sagar replies that she knows the basic rule of being a lawyer, as they cannot leave without hearing the argument of the other lawyer.
Vedika asks who will decide what is right or wrong, and Sagar says they should leave it to fate and fortune. Sagar explains that he saw his parents’ relationship, which was only a compromise, mostly on his mother’s side, who had to make many sacrifices and suffer because of it. Even after that, his path was full of thorns, not flowers.
Sagar’s Feelings for Vedika
Sagar says that Kamal Chacha and Saraswati Chachi respect each other, but their relationship is only one of respect. He has never seen them feel love for each other, and after seeing so much, he had lost hope of finding anyone in his life.
But then she came into his life and made him so angry that he became upset with her. He says he would have reacted the same way if she had come in front of him, but fate made her his employee. He initially thought she was only talking about legal matters, but over time, he began to understand the reason behind it because she was looking for an honest person and had not learned to lie.
Sagar says her words started to inspire him, so he felt like doing something good. When he won his first case, it felt like his own victory and he had a strong bond with just one person, Jahnavi. Vedika moves and says she didn’t even know AJ’s name, and Sagar asks who goes after someone in the freezer. Sagar replies that he was very scared, and when he opened the freezer door, he lifted her into his arms.
Only after hearing her breathing did he find peace, realizing she was alive because she was breathing. Sagar turns Vedika toward him and says that seeing her dance in the rain gives him peace, and he truly feels like he has never felt this way for anyone else.
He feels like he has known her for centuries. Sagar reveals that he wants to spend his entire life with her in joy and sorrow. He says he will not kneel but will tell her that he loves her. Vedika asks him to say it again, and Sagar confesses his love once more.
Vedika gives the same response, making both of them excited. Sagar asks what she said because he didn’t understand and asks if she really loves him. Unable to control his feelings, Sagar gets closer to Vedika.
