Rageshwari Questions Vedika

Vedika runs to help her father, and Sagar attempts to follow but Rageshwari stops him. He still punches Himmat in the face and checks on Kishori Lal, helping him sit down. Sagar asks how Himmat dares to raise his hand on Kishori Lal.
Degvijay questions Sagar’s actions, but Sagar warns his father to stay back, then turns to Rageshwari asking if she gets it. Rageshwari tells Degvijay that this is what she feared. Vedika has filled Sagar’s mind with hatred against his own family. Rageshwari reveals that Vedika has taken over her job and warns Degvijay that it was all pre-planned.
Saraswati was preparing for the pooja, planning to offer their necklace, then sent her parents out of town and came to help them. Vedika denies it, and Sagar says he promised Saraswati to help her with Vedika. Rageshwari mentions that Vedika made Saraswati believe she is like her lost daughters. Rageshwari asks if it was also Saraswati’s decision to have Vedika stay for three days. Vedika says it was her decision. Rageshwari asks if everyone heard that.

Sagar Tries to Assure

Rageshwari agrees, saying a girl’s respect is priceless, but some will stoop to any level for money. Padma asks her to stop. Rageshwari says Sagar, having lived abroad, doesn’t know about cunning women, but he knows them well. Rageshwari asks everyone to believe Vedika’s parents knew nothing.
She is sure Vedika planned this with her parents. Sagar tells his Dadi to stop trying to ruin Vedika’s character, as she’s not like those girls. Rageshwari says Sagar doesn’t know anything because he is the future of the Maheshwari family and she doesn’t want Vedika using him.
Saraswati asks her mother to stop, saying she can’t bear it. Rageshwari is amazed that Saraswati questions her despite the evidence, while Vedika remains silent. Saraswati asks Vedika to speak. Vedika tries to explain when Rageshwari places her hand on Saraswati’s head, asking her to swear on her life she didn’t open the safe.
Rageshwari then says she won’t take a false oath on Saraswati’s lies. Vedika tries to turn back, but Saraswati stops her, saying Vedika can’t take a false oath. She then asks Vedika if she knew the safe code and if she opened it.
Vedika Admits to Opening the Safe
Vedika says she can’t take a false oath on her life. Rageshwari and Degvijay start smiling, while the guests are shocked. Vedika admits to opening the safe but says there was another reason. Rageshwari asks if everyone heard the truth, with Saraswati confirming Vedika admitted to opening the safe. Rageshwari asks what Saraswati thinks now.
Vedika tries to explain, but Saraswati says she thought of Vedika as her daughter, seeing her as Jhanvi, but she stole the necklace. Vedika asks Saraswati to listen to her, but Saraswati refuses to listen. Saraswati reveals she gave Vedika the love she had for her daughters, fed her with her own hands, and gave her the love she had for her daughters. They gave her sweaters.
Vedika insists she didn’t do anything. Saraswati says the mother is right; this family gave Vedika a new life, and she’s been able to live long because of Rageshwari. Vedika has insulted her in front of everyone, so she demands Vedika and her parents leave the house immediately. Sagar is furious.
Vedika tries to console Saraswati, but she angrily orders Vedika to leave. Vedika walks to her parents, helping her mother stand, when the police inspector and constables enter. Rageshwari and Degvijay smile. Rageshwari asks if Vedika thought she would be let go so easily.
