She knows how to work hard and will stay as a servant, not as a guest. She will handle all the household chores and doesn’t need to be treated as a guest.
Mishri says she only needs 5 thousand rupees, while others ask for 10 thousand for similar work. She has no other expenses but needs to send money for Dadi’s medicine. Vaani says Mishri is a good person. Kalpana argues that Mishri is clever for deciding to stay here. Vaani insists Mishri is like a sister, not just a servant. Kalpana tells her not to compare Mishri to her daughter, asking if Mishri looks like Meenu.

Raghav apologizes to Vaani for the worry and gives her the thumb ring. He wants to see Mishri’s face, but Kalpana stops him, saying she will ruin his day. She warns that not everyone is as innocent as Vaani thinks. Raghav agrees. Vaani insists that since he saved Mishri’s life, he must help her. Raghav supports Vaani.
Raghav’s Revelation
Raghav tells Kalpana that we can’t predict when new relationships will come into our lives and we must take responsibility for them. Vaani is doing the right thing. Kalpana says Mishri is a servant, not a guest. She leaves.
Later, Vaani asks Raghav what happened. He explains he went to Gangapur, where Mishri’s life was in danger, so he married her to save her. He had no choice. Vaani feels hurt, saying he didn’t think of her when he married Mishri.
She feels she lives only for him and he doesn’t care about her. She tries to cut her wrist, but Raghav stops her. She says she is like a dead person now and doesn’t want to live. Raghav snaps out of his thoughts, hugs Vaani, and assures her he is not hiding anything. Giri comforts her.
