The Episode Begins
The episode begins with Veer remembering finding coal and thinking that Sweetie Maai is planning something big, but he’s unsure when, where, and how. He considers cracking a code and writes it on the floor, thinking it’s not a phone number.
He doubts that such a question would be on a civil service exam and finds nothing about it in the book. He closes his eyes and recalls Bulbul saying that she assigns numbers to letters to remember a word. He thinks about writing the alphabet and tries to crack the code. He sees Sweetie Maai coming in and cleaning the floor.
Sweetie Maai’s Interaction with Veer
She sits beside him, asking if he’s bored and how he could be since he was keeping himself busy. She asks if he was writing a poem for her and why he wiped it off. She says he won’t find anything, as they are on a mission, and once the explosion happens, there will be headlines questioning why ACP Veer Singh betrayed his own country and why the protector became a traitor. Veer says no one will believe it.
Arrival of the Fake Sadhu
A fake sadhu arrives and says ACP’s wife has come. Veer calls out to Bulbul. Sweetie Maai says she will introduce him to his wife today. She asks the fake sadhu to take Veer to the secret room and brings Bulbul to her room. Veer is being taken to the secret room and realizes he’s in the ashram.
Bulbul in Sweetie Maai’s Room
Bulbul is asked to enter Sweetie Maai’s room. There, the impostor Veer is sitting. Sweetie Maai tells him not to roam around with that face. He asks if he should remove the mask. Bulbul arrives there. Sweetie Maai says she was waiting for her and notes that Bulbul seems worried. She says everything will be fine, and Veer will become famous. Bulbul feels happy.
Instructions and Actions
Sweetie Maai tells her to find a special girl who can make him happy and keep the family united. She says only her God can answer. She gives her prasad and places a spoon on her sari. Then she asks her to go clean it in the washroom. Veer sees Bulbul arriving there. Bulbul washes her sari and feels Veer’s presence. She places her hand on the mirror.
Confrontation and Revelation
Veer calls her. Veer sees the impostor holding a knife and about to stab him, and he is shocked. Sweetie Maai stops him and signals him to leave. She says she has also heard her husband’s voice and tells him to come. She smiles and closes the window.
Final Realization
Bulbul tells her that she heard him. Sweetie Maai says that only they can hear his voice and that it seems like her Lord Veer wants to send a message, saying he’s in the right place. Bulbul opens her eyes and sees blood tears in Sweetie Maai’s eyes.
