Aaryaman Calls Jhanvi
Aaryaman gives Jhanvi a call and converses with her. He informs Jhanvi that Ritu should to have informed him sooner about what happened. Jhanvi points to it. Next, Aryaman pays Jhanvi a visit to have a face-to-face conversation. He observes that Jhanvi just smiles in agreement.
Saying that her family will visit her home tomorrow with a marriage proposal, Aryaman teases Jhanvi. He mimics Jhanvi to make her laugh until she tells him to stop. Aryaman sneezes out of nowhere, knocking their heads together.
Jhanvi informs Aryaman that she believes it to be a bad omen. Aryaman dismisses her concerns and requests that she accept her family’s visit the following day. With Jhanvi’s approval, Aryaman leaves.
Aryaman Seeks Kian’s Permission
Aryaman asks Kian to his house the following day. Why did Aryaman call him there, Kian asks. As this is going on, Jhanvi’s family is getting ready to greet Aryaman’s family, who are asking for Jhanvi’s hand in marriage.
Aryaman gives Kian the shagun thaal as a sign of respect and says he wants to marry Jhanvi.
Brij Bhushan’s Offer
Carrying the shagun thaal, Brij Bhushan and Suhasini arrive at Jhanvi’s residence. The family of Jhanvi greets them. Jhanvi is asked by Suhasini to open the shagun thaal and decide whether or not she likes it. When Jhanvi takes off the cloth, she is taken aback by what she finds.
Kian declares his joy and gives Aryaman permission to wed Jhanvi.
Brij Bhushan’s Proposition
Jhanvi is informed by Brij Bhushan that the shagun is essentially giving Aryaman a blank check to end his life. He informs that Kiyaan will attend a prestigious school in Chandigarh and that he has secured a position for him in a five-star hotel. Jhanvi is told by Brij Bhushan to consider his options and get back to him later.
Just as he is about to depart, Jhanvi gives back the blank check and promises Suhasini and Brij Bhushan that she will no longer be involved in Aryaman’s life. Brij Bhushan smiles and walks away.
Suhasini’s Praise
Brij Bhushan’s suggestion to write Jhanvi a blank check is praised by Suhasini. Then, Suyash breaks the good news to Brij Bhushan: he has obtained a political party ticket for her, realizing a lifelong ambition of his.
Brij Bhushan was informed by Suyash that Aryaman’s drug case stopped him from running in the previous election, but he is reassured that he won’t be stopped this time.
Jhanvi’s Sorrow
Jhanvi is disappointed to see Aryaman go. Kian approaches her and tells her how happy he is that Aryaman is going to be his father. But Jhanvi doesn’t tell Kian the whole truth.
Precap
Aryaman informs Premchand that my father has given him a blank check to send Jhanvi out of my life in the shagun. Saying, “Now I will see who sends me away from Jhanvi,” he brings Jhanvi inside the home.
He breaks wood, praising Jhanvi as he walks around the fire and lights it. He says the Bundela family is going to be very fortunate to have a daughter-in-law like Jhanvi. When Brijbhushan tries to stop them, Suyash intervenes on his behalf.
