Episode Start: Aditya Takes Charge
The episode begins with Aditya talking about Jhanak. He says sorry, now your job is mine, Ruchita, give me the card to announce the contestant names. Ruchita smiles at him. He asks for the card. She hands it to him. He says okay, you are in front of Aditya Kapoor. He calls the mentors to come on stage.
He announces Sheena Gupta as the first name, Bhavana and group, and funky boys are tied, and the fourth name is still left. He looks at the card and then at Jhanak. Aditya announces the fourth name as Shaina Batra. Everyone claps. Rudra looks at Jhanak and asks to turn off the cameras and stop rolling. Brij asks why.
Rudra Defends Jhanak
He says oh, your recommended girl didn’t get selected, she danced very badly. Rudra says I am not talking to you. He insists the decision is not fair, Jhanak should be selected. Queenie asks why, do you want Rudra to go to the next round.
Anirudh suggests focusing on Appu. Bablu worries about finding her, as she can’t handle herself and left without notice. Anirudh assures him not to worry, sir will find Appu. An inspector arrives and asks Anirudh why he is there. Anirudh explains his sister Appu is missing and unwell. Bablu urges the inspector to find her soon as she doesn’t know the way.
Dispute Over Jhanak’s Performance
Rohit tells Rudra that Jhanak’s performance wasn’t good. Rudra asks to finish first. Brij warns Rudra not to spoil his name for a girl. Rudra insists they need to change the decision because something happened. They all turn to see staff handling Jhanak’s dress. Rudra explains someone cut Jhanak’s dress, causing a wardrobe malfunction that ruined her performance.
Aditya looks at Jhanak. Rudra says respect matters for a girl, and despite the mishap, she completed the act. Brij dismisses this as an excuse. Rudra tells Jhanak to stop, she shouldn’t go anywhere. Brij says she knows she isn’t a good dancer. Rudra says she is not running away. Jhanak says she can’t stay silent if she remains there. Brij asks what she means.
Bablu guesses she left in the afternoon and can’t stay alone. Anirudh asks them to understand their situation, explaining about Appu. Brij taunts Jhanak. She asks how dare he speak against her mother and insists they check the footage, which can’t be fake. She warns that if she isn’t respected, it will be hard for her to respect them. She explains someone tried to ruin her performance, which is a big problem. Rudra insists they give her a chance.
Michael agrees to discuss it. Rudra asks Jhanak if she will run away, saying they haven’t seen her real talent and someone wants her to leave. Bhavna asks if the judges will qualify Jhanak. Brij says no. Michael says Jhanak should have told them about the dress problem.
Jhanak Dress Damage
Aditya argues that her journey won’t end here, as she is a good dancer and he has seen her perform. Brij accuses Rudra of damaging the dress for Jhanak’s benefit. Aditya denies this, saying no one wants Jhanak to qualify. Rohit suggests Brij might be right. Aditya insists he has experience and she should get a chance. The judges discuss.
Queenie says they will review CCTV footage thoroughly. Aditya agrees it is fair. Rohit suggests leaving the decision to the producers. Aditya supports this idea, saying Jhanak should get a chance. Rudra agrees. Brij disagrees. Michael says they can’t take a risk and there is no other way. He tells Jhanak there is still hope. Rudra assures her she will get a chance.
