Scene Begins:
The episode opens with Paro, Lakshmi, and Shalu getting out of the auto. Paro goes up to a girl and asks if she can play with her, and the girl agrees. Lakshmi bumps into someone and picks up her bag. Shalu asks what Lakshmi was saying. Lakshmi mentions Neelam aunty called many times, but she doesn’t want to argue or fight with her.
Shalu points out Neelam’s big ego and says the situation is serious. Lakshmi says she doesn’t want to talk to anyone. Neelam tells Rano that it’s lucky Rano is being foolish here and not at her house. She tells Rano to thank her for dropping her. Rano replies that Neelam hasn’t done anything kind enough to be welcomed. Neelam tells Rano to think before she speaks.
Rishi and Ayush Discuss Lakshmi:
Rishi tells Ayush that Lakshmi doesn’t want to talk to him or listen to him. He explains that he wants to raise Paro with Lakshmi, but Lakshmi misunderstood and thinks he wants her to give Paro to his mom. He questions why he would do that. Ayush explains that Lakshmi is afraid of losing her only daughter, Paro.
Lakshmi and Shalu with Paro:
Lakshmi tells Shalu that Paro will be upset, but she will handle it. Shalu asks what she means. Lakshmi calls Paro and asks her where her papa got the toy. Lakshmi asks her to come. Neelam and Aanchal leave without seeing Lakshmi, Paro, and Shalu. Rishi says Lakshmi won’t listen to him. Ayush says Lakshmi has endured a lot, and no matter how much they apologize, her pain won’t go away.
Rano hears the doorbell, opens it, and sees Lakshmi, Shalu, and Paro. Lakshmi asks what’s happening. Rano sends Paro away and tells Lakshmi that Neelam and Aanchal were there. She says she will first feed Paro and that Dadi is unwell, so they are going to the village. Paro asks if they will come back. Lakshmi says yes. Paro agrees.
Malishka and Anushka in the Kitchen:
Anushka asks Malishka what she’s doing in the kitchen. Malishka says she is cooking for Rohan as she is also a mother. Anushka tells her to focus on Rishi. Malishka says she’s doing what she should be and feels Anushka is underestimating her.
Anushka says if she had underestimated Malishka, she wouldn’t have said anything. Malishka says she has raised her concerns with Neelam in a way that will make Neelam act. She notes that last time Neelam’s mother threw Lakshmi out. Anushka says Rishi is Neelam’s son and can do anything. She mentions she heard Ayush and Rishi and realized Rishi loves Lakshmi.
Rano Drops Lakshmi, Shalu, and Paro:
Rano drives Lakshmi, Shalu, and Paro to the bus stand. Lakshmi thanks Rano. Rano asks if people thank their family and tells them to call when they get home. They board the bus.
Malishka Confronts Anushka:
Malishka tells Anushka she has no right to say that Rishi loves her and warns her never to say it again. Lakshmi feels uneasy and misses Rishi. She feels it’s wrong to separate a daughter from her father. She says it’s a father’s right to love his daughter and the daughter’s right to receive it, but she is taking it away because it’s necessary.
Malishka tells Anushka not to repeat her statement and insists Rishi loves only her. She says she got him married to Lakshmi for his own good, despite Rishi’s initial refusal. Shalu asks Lakshmi why she is emotional. Lakshmi says it’s painful to separate Paro from her father. Malishka cries and tells Anushka Rishi loved her madly and didn’t notice anyone else.
She feels guilty for getting Rishi married to Lakshmi and believes Lakshmi’s influence will fade, and Rishi will return to her. Anushka apologizes, but Malishka says she doesn’t believe in forgiveness and tells Anushka to think carefully before speaking again. She won’t forgive her. Lakshmi reflects on how the city has given her much but also taken away a lot.
Rishi and Ayush at Rano’s House:
Rishi and Ayush arrive at Rano’s house and ask about Lakshmi. Rano says Lakshmi isn’t there. Ayush asks her to help resolve the misunderstanding. Rano insists Lakshmi isn’t there. Rishi and Ayush are stunned. Lakshmi feels she hates Rishi but still trusts him. Then, she sees the police arriving.
Precap:
The police arrest Lakshmi and put her in jail. Neelam arrives with a lawyer. Lakshmi tells Rishi that she said she is the best mother. Rishi responds that he doesn’t remember.
