Episode Begins:
The episode starts with Atal begging for alms from the villagers. The Panchayat stops people from giving Atal anything. Atal tries to explain their mistake to them. The principal approaches Atal and tells him that he has an exam tomorrow.
Atal says there will be no exam tomorrow and then faints. The Panchayat decides to inform Atal’s family about his condition, but Tomar stops them and says he should suffer. Everyone disperses.
At Home:
Sushila advises K.B. not to go to work because he will feel humiliated working as a peon after becoming a teacher. K.B. and Shyamlal act like his puppets and follow her orders. K.M. senses that Atal is in trouble. She rushes downstairs and asks K.B. to go check on Atal, feeling something has happened to him, but Sushila messes with K.B.’s mind, making him refuse to go.
K.M. decides to go alone. Sushila tries to stop her with harsh words, but K.M. ignores her and leaves. Prem and Sada scold K.B. for his different behavior towards K.M. and Atal.
Finding Atal:
K.M. searches the whole village for Atal and finds him unconscious on the floor, mumbling, “Mother… water.” She rushes to get him water, but the Panchayat stops her, saying Atal should bring water himself and drink it, or die regretting it.
The puppet women hold K.M. back. She struggles to free herself and tells Atal to wake up and drink water. Atal hears her voice, opens his eyes, gathers strength, stands up, and drinks the water, making everyone jealous and frown. The drama continues…
