The episode starts with Anupama thanking Meenu for treating Anuj and saying that she is one of the few people who truly belong to her. Meenu replies that treating him was her duty and mentions that she is a clinical psychologist, explaining that Adhya’s absence has traumatized him. She says his world revolves around Adhya and he is deeply distressed, making it hard for him to recover.
She adds that his mind won’t heal until his heart does. Anupama asks what they should do. Meenu says they need to accept there is a problem and asks if Anupama is ready to accept the truth. Anupama asks what truth. Meenu reveals that Anuj hasn’t lost his memory but wants to forget everything except Adhya. She says this is a long battle to fight.
Anupama says she will fight. Meenu explains that she wants to observe his behavior. Meenu steps outside and almost falls, but Sagar catches her and apologizes. She thanks him for preventing her fall. She enters Shah House and tells herself not to be afraid as a doctor.
Devika Offers Anuj a Biscuit
Devika offers Anuj a biscuit. She tells him that Anupama believes Adhya is alive and says that her faith made her believe in it too. She says God keeps bringing them together, and once they find Adhya, they can start a new life. Anuj blames Anu for Adhya’s death. Devika tells him not to blame Anupama and asks if he ever inquired about her.
She tells him that Anupama also had a major accident and her leg hasn’t healed yet. If she walks too much, it pains, and she isn’t getting surgery because she can’t afford it. Dance was her worship, but she stopped dancing because she can’t dance anymore. Devika says Anupama’s pain is greater than his, and he has given up everything.
The song “Chaha Hai Tujhko” plays. Anupama arrives and says she isn’t asking for love, but not to be hated. She says she can live without his love but not with his hate. The song continues. Anuj stands up.
Meenu Enters Shah House
Meenu enters Shah House. Baa starts scolding her for abandoning her intelligence at the Russian airport and says she told her that the enemy’s wall is the LOC. Meenu says she isn’t the enemy. Baa says Anupama is her enemy and has taken her husband from her.
Meenu argues that Anupama isn’t her enemy, but Baa is Anupama’s enemy. Baa says she used to call Rakhi a serpent, but Anupama is her mother. Meenu reminds Baa of the oath she took after doing MBBS. Vanraj gets angry with her.
Meenu says she went to the temple with Kinjal and saw Anuj there. She says Anuj’s condition is not good and she requested the case but was hesitant. She says she wasn’t small six years ago.
Anupama Tells Indra and Nandita to Take More Tiffin Orders
Anupama tells Indra and Nandita that they need to take more tiffin orders and will ask customers to give tiffins with their names. Indra gets a message and is happy. She shares her joy with Anupama and Nandita, saying her son is coming to take her from London.
Anupama reminds her how she was thrown out of the house. Indra says she forgave him and tells how her heart is trapped in her son and family. Nandita says she can’t believe he has improved. Anupama worries that Indra’s heart might break.
Anuj Finds the Notes Devika Stuck on the Mirror
Anuj finds the notes Devika has stuck on the mirror. He realizes that Anupama is a good mother and loved Adhya more than he did. He says Anupama made him promise to stay away when she knew about Adhya’s feelings.
He says when she saw the evidence, she thought Adhya was no more. He imagines Adhya asking him to find her, wondering how he could believe she was dead. Anuj says he will find her, and Anupama is right that Adhya is alive. Anupama lights a lamp, places a bowl over it, and says this is a way to let bad news come in and burn away.

Anupama falls. Anuj catches her and takes her to the room. Anupama asks what Ankush and Barkha said to him. He leaves the house and goes to the electricity junction box, imagining Adhya there.
