Anjali saves Padma from Yuvraj’s friends/gangsters who are trying to attack her. Anjali beats up the gangsters for trying to harass, kidnap, and harm the girl. The gangsters ask who she is. She replies that she is Advocate Anjali Awasthi, who creates trouble both inside and outside the court.
Aman drives by and sees Anjali fighting. One of the gangsters runs towards Anjali, but Aman beats him up. The gangsters flee. Anjali comforts Padma and asks her name. Padma says her name is Padma.
Pooja Rajput Starts at Home
Ginny’s mother-in-law picks up the aarti plate. Ginny stops her and says that this is her first aarti after marriage and she wants to do it. Nivedita’s husband says anyone can do the aarti. Ginny takes the aarti plate from her mother-in-law and performs the aarti, surprising everyone.
Anjali Returns Home with Groceries
Her mother asks where she got the money from. Anjali says she got a new client. Her mother accuses her of lying and says she borrowed the groceries. She gets angry and tries to punish Anjali. Father Ganesh defends Anjali.
Mother says that Stefani told her that Anjali had a fight with someone. Ganesh asks what happened. Anjali explains that some goons tried to attack a girl; she saved the girl and suggested she file a police report, but the girl refused; so Anjali filed the complaint on the girl’s behalf.
Ginny’s Driver Brings a Gift
Anjali asks who sent it. The driver says it’s from Ginny madam and asks her to call Ginny. Anjali calls Ginny. Ginny talks rudely and says that tomorrow is her first wedding anniversary. She knows her father will still be wearing old blazers and shoes, so she wants her parents to wear the clothes she sent and attend the party.
Mother talks to Ginny. Ginny invites her to the anniversary party. Ganesh takes the phone and warns Ginny never to call them again since she took away her sister’s rights. He throws the gift away. Ginny taunts Anjali, saying that her father must have thrown the gift away. Anjali challenges her that she will become a famous lawyer and fulfill her father’s dream.
Ginny’s Mother-in-Law Questions Ginny
Ginny’s mother-in-law questions Ginny about sending gifts to her parents and insults her, saying her father is useless and cheap, and that she is cheap like her father. Padma returns home. Nivedita asks where she has been and shouts at her.
Padma nervously says she went to deliver prasad to Kavya’s house. Nivedita asks why it took so long and where she was. Padma says she got late. Ginny’s mother-in-law asks about her late return.
