Anjali’s Morning Rush
Anjali’s mother is busy cooking when Anjali calls out from her bathroom, asking her to bring her salwar/pants because she’s getting late for court. Her mother asks why she always forgets her dress and, while checking the grocery bag, mentions that she must have taken groceries on credit; even the shopkeeper might stop giving them on debit next time.
Anjali responds that she’s getting a new client today and will definitely earn some money. Her father presses her dress and gives it to her. He asks her mother why she always scolds Anjali. Her mother says that Anjali has grown up and they should start thinking about her marriage.
The father warns her not to dare talk about marriage in this house because he wants Anjali to become a successful lawyer. Anjali gets ready and comes out of the bathroom.
Rajput House Prayer Preparations
At the Rajput house, preparations for prayer have begun. A man asks his wife Nivedita about the other family members. She tells him where they are. He asks her to prepare the aarti plate. She goes to prepare the prayer plate. Then he asks his sister-in-law about Padma. She says that Padma has gone to give prasad to Kavya.
Anjali leaves the house. Her mother asks her to have breakfast first. Anjali says if she’s late, her client will run away. Her friends from the chawl come to her with a kidnapping case. Anjali shows off her legal knowledge and asks who was kidnapped. The friends say it’s their goat. She scolds them for bringing such a case. Her umbrella falls, and she bends down to pick it up.
Yuvraj’s Party at the Club
Yuvraj is partying with his friends and gets drunk near a swimming pool at a club. His friends tell him to stop drinking, or his father will scold him. Yuvraj ignores them. Padma, holding a prasad box, enters the club nervously. Yuvraj notices her and thinks of flirting with her. His friends try to stop him, but he ignores them again and approaches Padma.
He introduces himself and asks her to join the party. She starts trembling with fear. The Rajput family’s elder sister-in-law calls Padma and asks why it’s taking her so long to give prasad to Kavya and return home. Padma nervously says she’ll be back soon. Nivedita asks the elder sister-in-law to get ready for the aarti.
An argument starts between two daughters when one wants to leave the prayer and go to a party. Vaibhav enters and says that on the elder brother’s orders, their mother cannot participate in the prayer. Nivedita’s family asks for the reason.
Vaibhav’s wife says the elder brother doesn’t want any problems in the prayer because of their mother. The mother says the elder brother stopped her from going to court; she is Kangana Singh Rajput, LLB. The family disperses.
Yuvraj and Padma’s Encounter
Yuvraj snatches the prasad and mobile from Padma and asks her to party with him. His friends try to stop him, but he pushes them away and throws Padma into the water. Padma cries, saying she wants to go home. Yuvraj’s friend pulls her out of the pool. Yuvraj tries to stop Padma, but she runs away.
Yuvraj chases her with his friends. His sister sees them and stops Yuvraj, telling him that the girl is Aman’s maid. His friends continue to chase Padma. Padma struggles to drag her scooter through the traffic jam and gets annoyed by beggars. She scolds them and drives them away. She notices that Padma is being chased by goons.

A goon asks Padma who she is. She says she is lawyer Anjali Awasthi and beats him up. The Rajput family’s elder sister-in-law calls Anjali’s sister lowly like their father. Anjali tells her sister over the phone that she’s not a coward like her and will fulfill their father’s dream.
