In an interview with Times of India, Gulki Joshi shared her experience of entering the dating world after Madam Sir.
“When the show ended, despite some people advising against it, I decided to join a dating app. I thought to myself, ‘If something goes wrong, I can always claim it was a fake profile. I have a lot of time, so what’s the worst that can happen?'”
she recalled with a laugh. Fortunately, the person she liked was someone who was not familiar with her television career and knew nothing about her professional life.
Romantic Connection
Gulki further explained that the man she met through the app initially thought she was exaggerating about her career. But when she showed him some episodes of her work, he realized that she wasn’t exaggerating.
What attracted him the most was that he appreciated her as a person before recognizing her as an actor. “It’s been almost nine months now,” Gulki shared.
“At first, it was all about excitement and butterflies in the stomach. But for the first time, I feel emotionally secure. For women, emotional security is the most important thing.”
Public Disclosure and Personal Growth
The actress from Phir Se will be ready to make her relationship public when she’s comfortable, as she believes in the concept of ‘nazar’ (evil eye) and feels the relationship is still new. Interestingly, Gulki took a five-month break after Madam Sir to travel and reconnect with herself. She wanted to focus on her personal growth, which eventually led her to this new chapter in her life.
