The episode starts with Titu asking Ansh why he hit Veer and tells him that the teacher complains every day that he doesn’t focus on his studies and isn’t mischievous. Ansh cries. Titu hugs him and tells him not to cry, saying, “Papa loves you very much.” Ansh says, “Dadu told me everything, that you’re my stepfather and you’re bad, and you have no right to scold me, only Dadu has that right.” Titu shouts at Ansh.
Dimpy’s Concerns and Anupama’s Insight
Dimpy comes and shouts at Titu, saying, “You can’t shout at Ansh.” Ansh says he is scolding me. Dimpy says she is with Ansh. She tells Titu not to scold Ansh and wonders what will happen if they have their own child.
Titu says he gets complaints from Ansh’s school every day. Dimpy says you won’t scold him. Titu says if he knew she would change so much after marriage, then… Dimpy asks if he regrets marrying her. Anupama and Nandita hear them fighting in the ashram.
Anupama’s Perspective on Relationships
Anupama says they’re fighting again. Nandita says they didn’t know they would hear their fights here too. Anupama says Dimpy doesn’t understand that Titu is so good and married her, even though many girls were ready to marry him, and he loves Ansh very much. Nandita says Dimpy blames fate and can’t handle it when fate gives them a chance. Anupama says Vanraj has become Yamraj Shah.
Bala’s Confession to Anuj
Titu says he feels sad because they make him feel like a stepfather, even though he considers them his family. Dimpy regrets marrying him. Ansh says he feels like a stranger in their home. Dimpy says that’s his decision and not to blame her. Titu cries and walks out of the house. Anupama sees him and signals that he’s okay.
Anuj’s Unexpressed Love for Anupama
Bala writes “Indra Ji” on his hand and tells Anuj that his son is coming to take him and regrets not confessing his love. Anuj remembers peeking into Anupama’s house, seeing little Toshu and Samar playing while pregnant Anupama stands nearby.
He looks at her. The flashback ends. He tells Bala that he couldn’t confess his love to Anupama and it was too late, and he had to wait for 26 years. He says he still loves her and can’t hate her. Bala asks what’s stopping him and tells him to confess his love, saying his tears will turn into tears of joy and his love isn’t one-sided. He tells Anuj to think about it and leaves. Anupama hears them.
Anupama and Anuj’s Promise
Anuj turns to see Anupama. He comes to her and moves the curtain to see her. He asks if she will look for their Aaradhya, saying he believes Aaradhya is alive and asks her to find and bring her back. Anupama nods and says she’ll find their little Aaradhya, and they’ll search together.
Anuj says she’s not little anymore, but a grown girl. Anupama says that will make it easier to find her. Anuj says they’ll find her and asks if they’re sure. Anupama says, “Pinky promise.” He remembers and does the pinky promise with her.
Farewell to Indra Ji
Indra is leaving and hugs Anupama, telling her he’s sad to leave but happy to reunite with his family. Anupama says they’re glad his son came to take him, so now his tears will be tears of joy. She gives him the keys to Asha Bhavan, saying it’s always his home, and he can return anytime. His son tells him to come.
Anupama reminds him that a mother’s present is her child’s future and says, “You reap what you sow.” She tells him not to neglect his mother and to give her time and respect. She says a person is unlucky who doesn’t value or respect their parents. His son apologizes to him. Indra tells Sagar to get well-educated. She tells Bala to keep everyone happy with his jokes.
Anupama’s Advice to Bala
Anupama gives Bala a comb that was on the floor. Bala asks what’s its use. Sagar says it’s for his broken heart. Anupama asks what? Bala says Sagar shouldn’t have said that. Sagar tells her that Bala loves Indra very much. Anupama says, “Kaka?” Bala says he didn’t know when he fell in love with her; she took such good care of him that he fell for her cuteness and care.
He says he knows it’s wrong to love at this age and apologizes. Anupama says she fell in love with Anuj when she was 44 and had three grown-up kids, and her daughter-in-law Kinjal was pregnant then, but she didn’t stop. She says he’s loved Indra within limits and hasn’t done anything wrong. She says he should have confessed his feelings and recalls announcing her marriage to Anuj.
Anupama’s Encouragement to Bala
She tells him to confess his feelings if he gets a chance to meet Indra Ji. Bala and Sagar dance. Sagar tells him to make a heart with his fingers and say, “I love you,” to Indra Ji. Anupama makes a heart with her fingers and looks at Anuj. Anuj sees it. Anupama thinks she’s confessed her feelings, and he can understand.
Precap: Anupama’s Health Concerns
Precap: Anupama falls. Anuj helps her up and puts her on the bed with a hot water bag. Anupama asks Anuj what Ankush Bhai and Barkha Bhabhi told him. He gets tense and walks away. He goes near the electric junction box.
