The Episode Begins
The episode opens with Ranvijay walking past a bus that stops at a roadside eatery. As he moves on, Vaiju reflects on their wedding. Ranvijay encounters a protest that blocks his way. Meanwhile, Vaiju gets ready, applying sindoor to pretend she’s married. Ranvijay decides to take a different route.
Kailash and Vaiju’s Talk
Kailash remarks that Ranvijay faced humiliation, and although Vaiju is married to a good man, she hasn’t given them anything in return. Vaiju arrives and embraces Aaji, apologizing. Kailash then asks about Ranvijay’s whereabouts.
Ranvijay at the Hotel
Ranvijay checks into a hotel. Villager Mukesh spots him and assumes he is Vaiju’s husband. Vaiju explains that Ranvijay is busy, so she came to see Aaji instead. Kailash questions what Vaiju is hiding, suspecting she called Ranvijay. She says she needs to update him and rushes to the lodge.
Ranvijay and Vaiju at the Lodge
Ranvijay notices a missed call from Vaiju. When Vaiju arrives, Ranvijay grabs her and asks why she’s here as others are approaching. Sarpanch and his group arrive and question Ranvijay’s stay. He apologizes, acknowledging their customs. Aaji also offers her apologies, and Ranvijay accepts them.
Sarpanch’s Invitation
Sarpanch invites Ranvijay to stay at his in-laws’ house. Ranvijay explains he’s here to negotiate with the farmers to end their protest. Sarpanch offers assistance if Ranvijay agrees to come over. Vaiju suggests he stay for now and come back later. Ranvijay agrees.
Aaji’s Rituals
Aaji performs aarti for Ranvijay and Vaiju. Ranvijay misses Jaya and is treated well by Sarpanch. He mentions that sharing a plate during the feast symbolizes love, but Ranvijay feels disrespected by these rituals. Vaiju urges him to respect the customs for Aaji’s sake.
Ranvijay requests to meet the farmers’ union as promised. Sarpanch agrees, and they head out. Sarpanch warns to be cautious with Ranvijay and contacts Pratap to inform him about Ranvijay’s visit.
Ranvijay’s Negotiations
Ranvijay tells the farmers that their mill offers high prices and that he is from a farming background too. This angers them, but Sarpanch intervenes. Pratap questions Vaiju about her method of sugarcane planting. Vaiju explains a technique that could increase yields and profits.
She says Ranvijay is offering 15% more for their crops, which benefits everyone. The farmers agree but are still skeptical. An older man advises Vaiju to give them time to resolve the issue.
Ranvijay’s Thoughts
Ranvijay assures that the issue will be resolved and expresses his commitment to helping. He wonders why such problems keep occurring. Vaiju suggests Ranvijay stay at the lodge for now, questioning how he will manage at home. Ranvijay decides to stay in the lodge for the night and leave his luggage there.
