Night Scene with Bhim and Ram

He asks what they should talk about, and Ram says anything because they’ve been so busy lately. Bhim mentions that the outcome was as they anticipated the students who came promised not to have any conflicts, and their belief in resolving issues through education has grown stronger.
Bhim adds that they must begin a new challenge tomorrow, which is finding a job. He asks Ram to sleep while he continues studying. Ram places her hand on his shoulder and says she’s tired, explaining that she’s resting because she’s relying on a strong support.
Phulia’s Reflection
Jokhoo, Janardan, Manohar, and Phulia come downstairs and see the old workplace. Phulia remembers when Bhim stopped Jokhoo from hitting her and how she defended Bhim while Jokhoo blamed her. She recalls Khulkrani sahab praising Bhim and decides she won’t leave the place where such positive remarks were made.
Although Bhim and Ram are arguing, Phulia feels they should stay where people come together. Jokhoo asks if she’s lost her mind when she refuses to leave. Phulia explains that Bhim and Ram make faces, but they only show their own expressions and she’s not going anywhere. She looks at Ram and apologizes, asking them not to leave and to stay despite their conflicts.
Rama promises that they won’t discuss it with anyone and will keep it hidden. Manohar agrees that if Bhima’s supporters tease them, they’ll say they tried to leave but Bhima stopped them. They all return to their homes.
Shishupal and Shamla’s Conversation
Shishupal, with Shamla, expresses his happiness as people now respect him rather than fear him. He credits Shamla and Bhima for this change and mentions that he feels so happy that he wants to drink alcohol. Shamla says she won’t object, but Shishupal decides to buy a book instead, thinking that education has had such a positive effect on him.
Shamla agrees they should continue studying and strive to be respectable but suggests they return home. Meghnath arrives and says they can celebrate their victory tonight but should expect sorrow tomorrow. He vows to either kill or be killed, swearing on Shishupal’s life. Shishupal feels distressed about his brother in jail and his father facing jail.
Shamla comments that killing brings no peace, and Shishupal argues that right and wrong are just a night apart. He asks Meghnath to create that night so Meghnath can be good and talk about living together tomorrow. Meghnath mentions some money under his bed and asks Shishupal to give it to Baba if anything happens, so Baba can perform a ritual to ensure Shishupal isn’t born as his son again. Meghnath leaves angrily while Shishupal starts to cry.
Morning Reflections and Plans
In the morning, Rama notices the old teaching place and how they had become like a family. Bhim, beside Rama, asks what’s wrong. She says she misses everyone who used to stay and study there. Bhim replies that missing people shows a caring heart, but today they need to focus on their future and find jobs. Rama agrees and says they need jobs to avoid others’ taunts. Bhim mentions Rama’s experience in making students successful.
Phulia arrives with tea and milk for Bhim and Rama, saying they have their Phulia back. Janardan notes how Phulia has started to trust Bhim. Jokhoo responds that things will stay as they are, but Nandu is happy seeing others’ happiness even though their own situation is bleak. Nandu returns to his shop. Bhim and Ram praise Phulia, and she says they should teach her why they turned against each other despite being together before.
She admits that even if she wanted to visit their house, she couldn’t. Phulia adds that if she had learned this lesson, she would have been with them longer. Bhim explains that sometimes it feels like talking could cause a loss, but strong relationships are built without the fear of losing. Ram agrees and adds that their Aai understands their actions. Phulia also apologizes to Shobha, who says Phulia makes great sabji and will decide if she should be forgiven. Phulia feels nervous, but Shobha hugs her warmly.
