Ibadat Reveals the Truth
Ibadat says, “I sent these to you and you always talked to me alone,” as she shows the emails to Subhan. Subhan examines them. This, according to Ibadat, is my most valuable possession. I have something I need to show you.
She shows the presents and chocolates he has been sending her over the years. Every letter he sent her, which she kept. Subhan’s speechless. Ibadat says that I was the one who prayed for you in those emails; however, I regret not specifically asking for you in my prayers.
I love you. I love you so much. “I love you,” she says, giving him a hug. Recalling how he thought Mannat was the girl he had seen in his emails, Subhan proposes to her. How Mannat avoided discussing the emails.
“You are lying because of your sister, but you played with my feelings and never told me that that girl was you,” he pushes her away. You kept lying to me as if I would never have wanted to marry Mannat.
He smashes things and tells lies repeatedly. I’d prefer not to speak with you. She begs him to stay, but he continues to walk away. She cries in pain. Kainaat and Mannat notice this.
Mannat claims, “I promised to burn their relationship.” Kainaat claims she can still attract him and is still his wife. Says Mannat, I won’t allow them to make changes. I’ll see to it that they lack mutual trust. Subhan is going to hate her.
Ibadat Waits for Subhan
Ibadat calls Subhan throughout the night, but he never answers, so she waits for him the entire time. She says he hasn’t come back yet, but it’s nighttime. He doesn’t answer when she calls him repeatedly.
What if he gets into trouble, she asks? He’s just angry, but he’ll be alright. Though it’s only in her head, she thinks she hears his voice. She remains awake by the door, waiting for him. There, she rests.
Morning debate
Ibadat wakes up in the morning and declares he hasn’t come back yet. When Subhan arrives, he ignores her. Is he okay, she queries? You were where? He says, “I didn’t want to see your face, so I didn’t come back home.” In order to ease the family’s concerns about us, I returned.
At least give me a chance, she says. Can you lie to me again, he asks? Mannat never loved me, but you have lie to me since you were a young child, and that makes you worse than her. We have a relationship built on lies.
He apologizes, but the only thing he can offer you is hate. Anger-filled, he walks out. Hearing her words hurts Ibadat.
Custard Incident
Mannat brings him custard as Subhan is about to leave for work, but he says he doesn’t want it. He says he doesn’t want it, but she says at least try. When Ibadat arrives, she is stopped from forcing food on him. She says don’t force him because he refused.
Accepting it, she invites Subhan to go with her. Mannat expects enjoying it. Stop it, says Subhan. Ibadat advises against attempting to kidnap someone’s spouse. Mannat says you took him. When Subhan tries to back away, he falls and injures his back. Ibadat was frightened to see this.
