Padmavati’s Confession
Narayana is informed by Padmavati that she will stop at nothing to win his love. She is willing to give up everything for him, including wealth, money, and a maid, but all she wants is his love. Can you bring this dead leaf back to life, Narayana asks, handing her a leaf.
I will choose your love if you are capable of this because love doesn’t have a cost. From there, he leaves. Padmavati cries and leaves objects around, declaring, “He can’t leave me.” Narayana must assist her in bringing back with Venkatesh because she is passionate that her love is real.
Narayana and Bhargavi
Bhargavi is informed by Narayana that he loves her alone. She claims she wasn’t here to speak with him. You are getting married today, he says, but why are you here? Are you with me in your heart? Stop it, she says. She cannot run away from his love, he insists. When Padmavati learns of this, she labels Bhargavi as her enemy.
As Bhargavi turns to walk away, Padmavati stops them and asks Venkatesh if he has chosen her love yet, despite her rejection of him. She also questions the outcome of one-sided love. According to Narayana, love is selfless rather than selfish, and Bhargavi’s rejection does not prevent her from loving him.
Unsure of whom to love or marry, she is constrained by her obligations and promises. As Bhargavi sees them, she smiles. According to Narayana, a marriage should be based on love rather than revenge and should unite two people who can stick together through thick and thin.
Vasu is irritable, but he’s the best for her, she insists, and she walks out. Narayana is encouraged by Padmavati to accept her love, but he says he will wait a lifetime for Bhargavi’s affection.
Bhargavi’s Wedding Venue
When Bhargavi arrives at her wedding location, Vasu is seated in the mandap. She joins him in the seat. Prior to starting the marriage ceremony, Rishi requests that she accept Mahadev’s blessings. Narayan shows up and observes. As Bhargavi is ready to accept blessings, she falls and trips, calling out to Vasu for assistance. She gets punished by him and told to get up on her own.
Bhargavi remembers the devoted pair who supported one another. Vasu says he can’t take care of her and demands that she get up. When Narayan notices this, he promises to accompany her and says that true love is unbreakable. In an attempt to put a stop to this, he calls on a snake there using his abilities.
When Vasu sees the snake, she is startled and furiously asks why and insists that she does the Mahadev Abhishek by herself. When Vasu reaches out to hold her hand, she says she doesn’t need him and that she won’t be marrying him.
Narayan smiled and said that Bhargavi was Venkatesh’s property, just as Lakshmi was Narayan’s. Love must win. Padmavati believes she will prevent Bhargavi from obtaining Venkatesh.
