Tensions and Decisions
I came here for my papa, Abhira says, and I have made the decision to stay in the outhouse. I don’t want to go home. Dadi says, “I make the call.” Madhav claims that because we were content and there was harmony and respect, he didn’t want to return. No, Vidya says, don’t leave.
For her own sake, she asks Dadi to stop him. She cries. Madhav says, “Leave my hand; let it be. She just thinks about herself and her family’s respect.” No, Vidya responds. Dadi orders you to stop. Dadi claims that although people make mistakes, I am this house’s sky, the sky just provides favors, and I am helping this girl.
Thank you for the favor, Madhav says. I can’t leave Abhira alone, so I’ll stay in the outhouse with her. Will you end our marriage and the family for Abhira, Vidya asks.
He says, “I can ask you the same question: Is Maasa everything for you?” If you want to help me, come along. You’ve always made an effort to be Maasa’s good bahu; tell me when you have the guts to become my wife.
A New Beginning in the Outhouse
Arman believes it’s a good thing Abhira stays here, and I hope this causes her to turn to me. Dadi observes. Madhav and Abhira visit the bathroom. He says we can go if you say so. Will we break Vidya’s heart, Abhira questions. She says, “Make some food for me; I’m hungry. Don’t fight.” He rejects it.
It’s your turn now, she says. I’m tired of eating burnt food, he says. Okay, I’ll make the noodles; you have to eat them, she says. Noodles are good, he says. She considers Akshu.
You miss your mother, he says. She gives him a hug. She must be wondering, he says, “What am I doing in this house?” She says, “I’ll make you like her; go change, and I’ll make the noodles.” He walks off. When Madhav and Vidya’s problems are resolved, she says, I’m going to leave this house.
Armaan’s Hope and Abhira’s Resolve
Manisha, Manoj, and the children thank Charu for calling Abhira while dancing. They discuss Abhira and Armaan. Madhav says, “Abhira, message me if you need anything important before I leave.” Okay, she replies. At the door, he notices Vidya. He walks off. Armaan peers through the open window. He smiles upon seeing Abhira.
Tum ho plays. She shuts her window and gives him a look. He says there are mosquitoes because of the rain, I will keep mosquito repellent coil and bat. He calls Abhira and knocks on the door.
He hacks close to the smoke. Abhira collapses into his arms as he turns. She holds the lantern in her hand. He takes off her dupatta covering her face. She pushes him.
