2008 saw Sushant Singh Rajput make his acting debut in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, starring Ekta Kapoor. His rise to popularity came from Kapoor’s hit television series Pavitra Rishta, which marked a major change in both his professional and personal lives. He first got to know Ankita Lokhande on this show, and their on-screen couple of Manav and Archana went on to become a popular TV couple.
In dance reality shows like Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Sushant showed off his skill. After making his Bollywood debut in the 2013 movie Kai Po Che!, he went on to have popular roles in movies such as Shuddh Desi Romance, Kedarnath, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and PK.
Sushant, 34, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. Even after it was initially determined that he committed suicide, allegations of criminal activity remained.
Shweta Singh Kirti, Sushant’s older sister, has been extremely supportive of discovering the real reason behind his passing. She confirmed her call for justice on this anniversary, saying, “Your death is still a mystery. Before calling it quits on their romance in 2016, Ankita and Sushant were together for seven years. During her time on Bigg Boss 17 in 2023, Ankita talked a lot about Sushant and at times started crying.
Eventually, two and a half years after her breakup with Sushant, Ankita moved on and fell in love with her now-husband Vicky Jain.
